How You Can Help

There are so many ways you can help our W.H.I.N.N.Y. horses. Anything you choose to do, as long as you become involved, will make a lasting effect on their lives. It takes so little to do so much for a horse in need.

SPONSOR
By sponsoring one of our horses, you lend us a helping hand caring for them ! Any of the W.H.I.N.N.Y. horses may be sponsored. Sponsorship helps us in purchasing supplies of hay & grain, special feeds for our older horses, medications if needed, vitamins, farrier visits, wormers, and vaccinations. If you choose to become a sponsor for one of our W.H.I.N.N.Y. horses select the horse you want to sponsor by indicating their name and number on your check or money order. Just $25.00 ( twenty-five dollars) or more a month can sponsor a W.H.I.N.N.Y. horse. We will send you a recent photo of the horse you chose,  along with a brief description of how the money will be used. With your permission, we will add your name to our Circle of Friends page  on our website. Our promise to you... 100% of the money you donate will be used to care for a horse in need.

Please contact us if you can help.

VOLUNTEER

It is hard work running any rescue  The list of chores are endless but with the help of good volunteers no one has to suffer the burden of doing it all by themselves. No job is too small or any less important than another. They all have to be done. Even if you volunteer one hour a day, that's an hour spent doing something worthwhile for a horse in need. Make one day out of the week a family project day and volunteer the whole family to help clean stalls, wash water buckets or groom horses.
If you're in the vacinity and would like to volunteer your time to help a horse in need please call.

Please note! In the past, I have received calls from people wanting to volunteer, however  they "volunteer"  just to ride the horses. Most of our horses have served well their duty in the saddle. Now it is their time to rest and enjoy the time they have here on earth. W.H.I.N.N.Y. will not allow its horses to be exploited by anyone.

DONATE

If sponsoring and volunteering are not what you think you can offer, but you still wish to help our horses in need, a cash or product donation would be appreciated as well.  Each and every donation W.H.I.N.N.Y. receives means much to us personally . With your permission, we will list your name on our website along with other generous donators .
