WHINNY has grown since its
beginning in 2002. And if there is one thing that I have
learned in those six years is that there is a need for my facility
in this area. My five-stall barn is overflowing and there is no
better time for expansion .We are planning several fundraisers
this year and as always we appreciate so much the fundraising done
by many of WHINNYs friends and supporters. Your efforts helped
make a difference and without that support WHINNY could not
exist to help horses in need.
WHINNY Fundraisers 2008
The improvement of a three -acre pasture for its
aged, handicapped and injured horses. This project includes
horse-safe fencing and gates, a safe source of fresh drinking water,
tree planting for a windbreak and natural shelter fom the elements,
and site preparation for a fabric structure that will be moved from its
current location to provide additional shelter from the elements.
