The Henneke Scoring System is a scientific method of evaluating a horse's body condition regardless of breed, body type, sex or age. It is now widely used by law enforcement agencies as an objective method of scoring a horse's body condition in horse cruelty cases. The Chart is accepted in a court of law.
12/16/09 The antibiotics are working on Gypsy's fungus infection, but she still has a long way to go. Thank you, Shula from Serenity Horse Rescue for the helpful tip on a rain rot remedy, The listerine is working great.

02/10/10 Gypsy weighs 680 lbs now. She is losing most of her old hair and a new coat is growing in. The penicillin took care of the severe fungus infection , and we're working on her rain rot. She eats twice a day now and is on free choice hay. She's very intelligent and eager to please. She loves apples and carrots but peppermint candy is her favorite treat.
